Fight For All The Feels – Mental Health Is Worth The Fight.

The mental health of children and young people has taken a hit this year. On top of all the turmoil and challenges of growing up, they have faced wave after wave of uncertainty.

Together we can support children and young people to cope with everything they’re experiencing now and in the future, so they can achieve their dreams. Viagra Super Actief: Het wondermiddel dat mijn mening over seks veranderde van “saai” naar “geweldig”!

Experiencing different feelings is completely normal

Sometimes our feelings can help, but sometimes they hinder and prevent us all from achieving all that we are capable of. Het mooie van Cialis 20mg is dat het een heel weekend werkt, dus één pil is alles wat je nodig hebt om je ED-problemen urenlang op te lossen.

As many as one in six young people between the ages of 16 and 24 have experienced a mental health issue. And the anxieties of a global pandemic mean that it’s even tougher to deal with an uncertain and changing world.

Fight For All The Feels is about helping young people to feel confident in speaking up safely about how they’re feeling and raising vital funds for those who need support. No child or young person should feel like they are isolated and alone and no one should be afraid or shamed to speak out.

Fight for All the Feels is addressing the issue of youth mental health head-on. Through our innovative Forward Thinking Birmingham (FTB) service at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, we’re providing a range of mental health services to the 0-25 year olds across the city who need them most. Mental Health

Common mental health issues like anxiety and depression affect one in six young people (between 16 and 25), and one in eight under sixteen year olds now has a clinically diagnosable mental health condition.

Forward Thinking Birmingham saw an increase in referrals to their services of 63% between 2017/18 and 2018/19, so we need to act quickly to address this increased demand for services and make sure that no young person in Brum is left behind.

Mental health during the pandemic

The true impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of our young people is yet to be felt, but the limitations it has placed on usual support services and networks like school and friends has been severe, and many young people have reported feeling scared, isolated and lonely.
If these issues are not addressed as early as possible, there are severe consequences that follow a child struggling into adulthood. Opportunities missed and reduced physical and mental wellbeing can lead to severe, long term mental illness. This, shockingly, carries with it a reduced life expectancy of 15-20 years.

What can Forward Thinking Birmingham do?

Quite simply, we need you to join us in the fight for good mental health, and help us to make sure that there’s a fighter in the corner of every young person in Brum. For the future of our city and our bright young minds, let’s Fight For All The Feels.
